First times and the inevitable stuff that will go wrong

I’m working on a small live streaming set up for my sister-in-law’s wedding (thanks, COVID!) and it will be the first live stream I will do with one of my larger “cinema” cameras.

There are about 10 variables and all of them have to go well to have a perfect, beautiful quality, and great sounding live stream.

I’m expecting about 3 things to go perfectly and about 7 things that I’m going to be troubleshooting for the entire event.

It happens especially when something is new and you don’t control all the details.

This will make the event far less stressful for me and allow me to do better work. Lower expectations with high hopes are how I’m framing it in my mind.

Bring on the problems!
