We control our reaction to what happens to us. Even the reactions to the little everyday stuff, the delay at the grocery checkout, the guy that cut us off in traffic, the canceled flight, the slow internet, the burnt toast, or the horrible news about the family member who’s condition just took a turn for the worse.
No matter how big or small, we control our response.
When the stakes are low, we must force ourselves to exude energy, laugh deeply, praise others from the heart, and always be smiling.
Even if it’s fake. Just do it.
What starts as fake becomes a habit and it turns out you’ll react and live that way as a general rule. When you both control your responses and you exude energy, laughter, and happiness, life will change in a good way.
