Agony and joy of mindless wasted time

Think about how much time we waste reading, listening to, and watching content online that we’ll completely forget by next week.

I’m guilty of this. The moment of consumption seems great. It feels good and you can sit back and let it wash over you.

Until you wake up from the dream and realize you wasted a bunch of time on something that is in-one-ear-and-out-the-other.

I think if we took a second before consuming more content and asked if it’s worthy of our time and made a decision based upon that, we’d lead a far more productive life.

P.S. "Wasting" time for recovery is a good thing. Having no limit and allowing that "wasted" time to blur into the time when things need to get done is where the problem lies.
