20-minute nap vs. 2-hour nap

How much of a break is too much?

If you take a 20-minute nap, you feel refreshed and ready to go,

If you take a 2-hour nap, your acid builds up, and you wake up feeling like a slug.

More of a good thing is not always a good thing.

So how many days off is good? If I take a week off, is it more challenging to get back to work than if I only take off a day? What if I take off three months? It’s probably even more difficult.

More rest is not always better. Even the guys who ride the Tour de France workout for 4-5 hours on the “rest” days because too much time off gives you dead legs when it’s time to get back to work.
